The Sacramento Swimming Meetup
|
Meet others in your local area interested in swimming. In the pool and out in the real world open water style. We'll work out regularly to stay fit, discuss swimming techniques, health benefits and gather for motivation and friendship! We hope to hold events 3-4 times/week starting around the second week of May (after the high school swim season is over). If you would like to add events to the calendar, please feel free to email the organizer! Look for the contact button on the left side bar of this page. We welcome feedback, and we strongly encourage members share ideas with us! In addition to swimmers, we are looking for paddlers; kayak, canoe, ect, to join us as a safety escort for open water swimming. We would love a pair of activity partners one who swims and one who paddles. The paddler would in no way be liable for the safety of the swimmers, merely assist, if possible, swimmers who become distressed.

Our next meeting:
The Sacramento Swimming Meeting
Swimming is a fairly solitary persuit...but opportunities for friendship before and after a workout abound!
We'll be meeting at Natomas High School Pool located near Truxel Rd. and I-80. We'll meet at 11:00am and mingle for about 15 minutes, then we'll swim. After the swim those who wish may join us for coffee and a snack.
There is a locker room, and you must bring your own lock. There are outdoor showers. Read more
